Born in Indonesia, Spicy began in 1999 as the resident DJ in Asian Bar, a prestigious Paris club located on the Champs Elysees.
In 2001, Spicy had many events in the best clubs of the capital like Elysée Montmartre, SIX SEVEN, LE CAB, MIX CLUB, radio and TV shows such as "CULT" on France 5 hosted by MTV’s Ray Cokes, and even at the Cannes Festival for Bollywood Movies.
His energetic and festive mix sets are known from Paris to Reunion Island as Benjam’s DJ, the number one dancehall reggae singer.
2007 was a landmark year in Spicy’s career, since he mixed alongside DIDIER SINCLAIR during a famous night at Paris MIX CLUB.
In 2008, at 30 years old and with 15 years experience, he settled in Morocco for a new residency at LOFTCLUB-TANGIER. Referenced in northern Morocco clubbing, DJ SPICY is labelled as a confirmed artist in both Electro and RNB movements. He has mixed along with world famous DJs such as JOACHIM GARRAUD, DARIO NUNEZ, PAULETTE, ARNO COST and CUT KILLER...
Since then, he keeps browsing new musical influences, mixing styles, genres, trends and cultural sonorities.
Today, his Electro House sets which is inspired by his travels and his club experiences are the key element of his originality.
Producer and remixer, he is currently working on an Electronic music album for 2009.
